TSD formerly known as Tri-State Testing and Drilling, LLC when formed in 1985 until a name change in 2007 to its present name. The company is managed and operated as a professional drilling contractor, Safety First — Safety Always driven as a leader in providing drilling services in geotechnical, environmental, mineral exploration and water resources throughout the south and southeastern United States.
The company operates more than 19 various types of drill units with fully trained drill teams and have local base resources in Chattanooga, Nashville, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Huntsville/Decatur AL.

Tri-State Drilling is corporately based in Chattanooga TN with established resources centers in Knoxville, Murfreesboro / Nashville and Huntsville areas.
Tri-State Drilling services initially began in areas surrounding Chattanooga that extended into parts of Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. The services has extended its geographic reach farther from the Tennessee Valley to the Gulf Coast into the eastern Coast line to Ohio Valley and Mid-West region. This area includes eastern and southeastern portion of the United States.
